Precision Bike Fitting and Assembly
Book a session with our Cairns fitting crew and we build the whole bike around your body. Saddle height, cleat angle, stem reach, bar width: measured, not guessed, then assembled to torque spec before you ride away.
Two hours, done properly
Every session starts with a full body assessment, then a live pedalling scan. You leave with a printed setup sheet so the numbers stay correct when you swap saddles or travel.
What You Get
A fit built around your body, not a template
Most riders run positions they copied from a mate or a clip online. We start from the ground up: hip angle, knee tracking, foot tilt and hand pressure, all measured while you actually pedal under load. It is the difference between a bike that fights you and one that disappears under you.
After the setup we strip, clean and rebuild the contact points. Bearings get checked, the headset gets preloaded correctly and every fastener goes back to manufacturer torque so nothing creeps loose on the first long ride.
Numbers That Matter
What the numbers look like
We log every fit and follow up a month later. These are the patterns that keep coming back from our Cairns workshop.
Measured, not eyeballed
Infrared markers track your hips, knees and ankles through the pedal stroke. You see the angles change in real time instead of trusting a plumb line and a guess.
Rebuilt to spec
Steerer cut squarely, cables re-routed, derailleur hanger aligned and every bolt set with a calibrated torque wrench. Your bike comes back quieter and more predictable.
Experience on the Floor
Six years fitting every kind of rider
We have fitted overnight racers, weekend commuters, triathletes chasing a personal best and older riders working around old injuries. The method stays the same, the numbers change.
-
2019
Opened a dedicated fitting bay with a smart trainer and a two-camera capture setup.
-
2021
Added pressure mapping so we could see exactly where saddle discomfort starts.
-
2023
Brought in a physiotherapist two days a week to handle fit-related injury cases.
-
2025
Launched remote follow-up reviews so returning riders can tweak their position without coming back in person.

Our Process
How a fitting session runs
Six checkpoints from intake to follow-up. Nothing gets skipped, even when the diary is full.
Bring your bike, your shoes and your usual kit. Shorts you actually ride in make a real difference to the numbers we read.
Intake interview
We ask about injuries, ride goals and the niggles you have been ignoring at the back of your mind. This shapes everything that follows.
Body assessment
Leg length, hip rotation, foot arch and flexibility get measured and logged before you touch the bike.
Baseline scan
You pedal on the trainer while we record your current position. It is usually the moment a rider realises why their knee hurts.
Adjust and re-scan
Saddle, cleats, bars and stem get moved in small steps. Each change gets re-scanned so we can see the effect instead of assuming it.
Rebuild and torque
Contact points come apart, get cleaned and go back together with the correct grease and torque values.
Follow-up check
Thirty days later we call to see how the position is holding up, and tweak anything that does not feel right.

Inside the fitting bay
A look at the tools and process we use on every session.
Markers placed at hip, knee and ankle give us the joint angles we need to make decisions.
A sensor insole shows where the pressure sits so we can fine-tune cleat position and support.
Every bolt on the contact points gets set to the manufacturer's specified value before the bike leaves the stand.
You take home a printed summary of every measurement so your position travels with the bike.
