Happy Deals Time Pty Ltd runs this website and the retail store at 1 Iluka Street, Smithfield QLD 4878. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you shop with us, book a service or simply browse the site, and what we do with it afterward.
We follow the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988. If you deal with us from outside Australia, the same standards apply to the information we hold about you.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to sell you gear, fit you on a bike or get equipment into your home.
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and delivery or install address.
- Order details: what you bought, the price, the payment method and the invoice number.
- Service records: bike fit measurements, torque settings and install notes tied to your job.
- Website data: pages you visited, the device and browser you used, and the approximate city you browsed from.
We do not collect your payment card number. Card payments run through our bank's gateway and the full number never reaches our servers.
How we use your information
Your details get used to process orders, arrange delivery, book service appointments, handle warranty claims and answer questions you send us. We also keep records because the tax office and consumer law require it.
If you tick the newsletter box, we email you occasional product news and workshop offers. You can unsubscribe from any email by clicking the link at the bottom, and we will stop within two business days.
Who we share it with
We pass the minimum required to freight companies, installers and payment providers so your order can be fulfilled. Those businesses are bound by their own privacy obligations and cannot use your details for anything else.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not trade email lists with other retailers. Information is stored on servers in Australia and kept for seven years to meet accounting rules, then destroyed securely.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete details we no longer need. Send the request to happydealstime@gmail.com or call the store on +61 7 4916 0382. We respond within 30 days at no cost.
If you believe we have handled your information badly, contact us first so we can fix it. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
